Home sweet home. Brand new baby. Brand new schedules. Brand new priorities. You wonder how was your home a real home, before he came along? Their home is now filled with the undescribable love that a newborn can only bring.
I was blessed to spend a few hours with Trevor, Lindsay and Nolan. In their home. Their space. Their time. Documenting the love. The feedings. The crying. The diaper changes. The small things that now fill their days. And they couldn’t imagine life without it.
Congratulations Trevor and Lindsay. Soak it all in. You have all you will ever need. In each other. And in baby Nolan.
The love that Matt and Dana have for each is enough to warm the coldest of days. A typical windy November day was filled with the warmth of their love. You couldn’t help but see how much they cared for each other. You know that genuine kindness. That deep love. How they would be lost in a moment together. Holding onto their day. They were complete. With family and friends who surrounded them with that exact same love and joy.
Matt and Dana are a beautiful couple. Inside and out. That crazy, silly kind of love. True friends. Soul mates. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to document their love. To be able to freeze their memories.
Well 2012 is coming to an end. A quick year it has been! So much happened this year, and so much more planned for 2013! My brain has been spinning with so many creative ideas, and ways to bring my photography to more people. I want my images on your walls. I want you to desire to freeze those special, even small moments in time, to keep in your memory forever. I want you to see the beauty and love that I see when I’m behind my lens.
As I went through my images of 2012, I am reminded of how grateful I have been this year. The gift of giving memories is so incredibly special to me. A bond between two lovers. The love and connection of family. The beauty of a woman. The overpowering love for a newborn. It’s more than I can explain in words … so I’ll do what I do best. And show you in images. Some of my favourites of 2012.
